Tritax Symmetry have entered into a forward funding agreement with LondonMetric Distribution Ltd to deliver a pre-let to Croda Europe Ltd. The project is to construct 232,150 sq ft of high-quality warehouse and offices
Croda creates, makes and sells speciality chemicals. It will be a Croda’s European distributions hub for products made at its manufacturing sites in the UK and outside of Europe.
A Reserved Matters planning application has been granted to deliver the pre-let and construction is underway, targeting a Summer 2020 completion.
Yorkshire based GMI Construction have been appointed main contractor on the project. Tritax Symmetry expects to hand over the building to Croda for Summer 2020.
Tritax Symmetry has worked closely with Croda to design and build a warehouse of exceptional credentials with high safety and environmental standards including energy and water saving measures, zero waste to landfill policy and stringent employee protection systems.
The development is located at the highly successful employment site of Goole 36, within the East Riding of Yorkshire council.
Positioned on Junction 36 M62, the site has excellent accessibility to the East Yorkshire ports as well as the wider motorway network.
