Tritax Symmetry is delivering a 552,000 sq ft storage and distribution warehouse for Harper Collins in Robroyston, Glasgow. It will be built on a 45-acre site forming part of the Scottish Enterprise managed business park and sits alongside the existing Robroyston Retail Park off Junction 2 of the M80.
In bringing this vacant site into use, the project will create around 700 jobs through the construction and landscaping phases. Once HarperCollins UK Publishers Ltd has taken up occupancy, the site will support around 300-500 jobs, bringing a much welcome boost to the local Robroyston economy.
Detailed planning consent was achieved in March 2022 and work has now started on site with a scheduled completion date of February 2023.
