Our charity challenge 2,100 Miles in 21 days

When we nominated SUDEP Action as our chosen ‘Charity of the Year’, nobody could have predicted what lay ahead in 2020. Despite this, the Tritax Symmetry team has continued to plan and fundraise, and we have currently raised almost £11,000 of our £15,000 target.

We really need your continued help to reach our goal. On Saturday 3rd October, we will be launching our #2100MileChallenge.

Our target as a team is to collectively cover 2,100 miles in 21 days – finishing on 23rd October, ‘SUDEP Action Day’ – by walking, running, cycling, swimming, or any other self-powered means! We hope to raise over £5,000, and would really appreciate any support that you are able to provide here.

Our efforts will be collated and recorded on Strava, and we hope to be able to hold a number of COVID-compliant team events over the 3 weeks as well (further details to follow!)

In the past 21 years, over 21,000 people with epilepsy have died suddenly and died too young.

SUDEP Action is dedicated to raising awareness of epilepsy risks and tackling epilepsy deaths including Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy. They are the only UK charity specialised in supporting providing families with crucial services including bereavement support, counselling and help with understanding the inquest process.

Charities have suffered a real reduction in funding this year, so any donation, no matter how large or small, would be greatly welcomed.
