We have appointed Sinead Turnbull as our new planning director in our Northampton office.
Sinead joins the logistics development company from DLP Planning where she headed up the Rugby office. Prior to that, Sinead was senior planning officer at Hartlepool Borough Council and more recently at Northampton Borough Council. An experienced town planner, Sinead has also held roles at Durham, Wear Valley and Sedgefield Councils.
Here, Sinead’s remit will be to work with the development team on strategic logistics and infrastructure projects across the UK.
The news follows on from the appointment of a new development director in Alex Reynolds earlier this month.
Speaking about the appointment, Richard Bowen, managing director, commented: “Due to the size, scope and complexity of the schemes we are involved in, we have taken the decision to expand our dedicated in-house planning resource. Sinead is our third in-house planner and will provide additional strategic direction at a senior level thanks to her thorough understanding of the town planning system and extensive public sector experience.”
Sinead continued: “Tritax Symmetry are widely recognised as being at the cutting edge of logistics and this role offered me an excellent opportunity to specialise in an ever-growing sector and one that is of significant importance to the national economy. Having worked in various councils for many years, I’m looking forward to the new challenge of working client-side with the highly experienced team that is already in place.”
We have 3,100 acres capable of accommodating 42 million sq ft of logistics space.
