New Hires And Promotions Continue At Tritax Symmetry

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Pete Whittingham as the our new associate planning director, working alongside planning director Matt Claxton, in Manchester.

We have also made a series of promotions across the business since the start of the year. In the Northampton office, Joseph Skinner has been promoted to development director; Jake Howard and Charlie Mackaness have both become associate development directors; Saiesh Manthena has taken on the role of finance analyst and Linda Edwards has been promoted to Executive Assistant.

Pete joins Tritax Symmetry after over 12 years at property agency, Savills, where he worked on major commercial development projects from initial development appraisals through to securing planning permission.

He is the latest in several senior hires the company has made in the Manchester office as the logistics developer continues to expand its operations across the North. In February, Tritax Symmetry appointed Dave Travis as its new head of the Manchester office, with James Cannon joining from RLB as regional construction director.

Across the North, Tritax Symmetry has several live projects underway.  Last October, the company acquired a strategic 221-acre site in Parkside East in St Helens, in the Liverpool City Region, with plans to bring forward a circa 2.5million sq. ft logistics scheme and a new strategic rail freight interchange project (SRFI). In Knowsley, Tritax Symmetry is delivering Symmetry Park Merseyside, a new 900,000 sq ft premier industrial and logistics park.

Speaking about the new appointment and the promotions, our MD, Andrew Dickman commented: “With major projects coming forward at various stages of the planning and development process and a huge appetite for further acquisitions across the portfolio, we require exceptional talent at every stage to ensure their delivery. Pete’s appointment and the internal promotions we have made across the business help to fulfil that requirement and ensure we continue to deliver best-in-class facilities for our customers.”
