Six brave professionals from the real estate and tech sector are taking part in a charity skydive on Sunday 12th June to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities UK, one of Tritax Symmetry’s chosen charities for the next two years.
Alastair Patrick, Jenna Wilks and Maxine Hunt from Tritax Symmetry will be joined by Alex Dickman (CBRE), Kate Healey (Inform Communications), and Tom Thackstone (Apadmi) in the hope of raising £3,000.
Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation at specialist children’s hospitals across the UK, enabling families to stay close to their child and maintain a degree of normal family life.
Speaking about the jump, Alastair Patrick, marketing director at Tritax Symmetry, commented: “This is one of the first challenges that we are completing as part of our fund-raising campaign and, as a frequent skydiver, I’m personally very pleased to have started with this activity! We’re really keen to raise as much as we can for this worthwhile cause and are asking partners in the industry, friends and family to dig deep as these funds really do make a huge difference to those families whose lives have been turned upside down by their child’s illness.”
Alice Beck, Senior Community Fundraiser at Ronald McDonald House Charities UK continued: “We were incredibly grateful to hear that Tritax Symmetry had chosen RMHCUK as one of their charities for the next two years, as the money they raise will make such an unbelievable difference to those families who find themselves miles from home with their child in hospital. All their donations will ensure we can continue supporting families for as long as they need, helping them focus on their child’s recovery as well as their own well-being, whilst also saving them a fortune in out-of-pocket hospital expenses. We’re so impressed by the team for taking on this whacky challenge and would like to wish them the best of luck for the skydive weekend!”
Please help Ronald McDonald House Charities UK look after more families by donating and supporting us taking part in their 2022 Skydive Weekend.
