Richard has 28 years of experience in the property development industry and over 20 years involvement in large-scale warehousing and distribution developments. He is therefore very experienced and is very much "hands-on" on both the property development and trading activities.
His business focus at Tritax Symmetry is on bottom-line profits through a highly analytical and numerate approach, challenging assumptions at each and every step and looking to minimise downside risk at each and every opportunity. His excellent IT skills ensure the Tritax Symmetry financial reporting is of the highest calibre. Richard is adept at standing back and understanding the business and economic landscape and implementing the appropriate business strategy at the right time.
A true entrepreneur, he has also been at the heart of the creation of the successful Barwood businesses: Land, Homes and Capital and their subsequent sale following the creation of real value.
Christian is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and has over 28 years of commercial property experience, starting his career as an industrial agent in London when he was involved in the then pioneering Magna Park Lutterworth Logistics Park, before joining Barwood in 1999.
Christian's skills lie in creating a product in a location that finds favour with occupiers and investors alike and leveraging his strong agency contacts to yield new opportunities. His geographical focus is Greater London and the South-East.
Within Tritax Symmetry Northampton office, Christian leads the development process, galvanised the business to proceed with its speculative building programme and is at the forefront of customer relationships and corporate marketing.
Andrew is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years of commerical property experience. He specialises in delivering cradle-to-grave property strategies to maximise profit & minimise risk.
He established the northern office in 2012, to capitalise on development and re-positioning opportunities in Northern England & Scotland. Andrew has a long track record of successfully delivering multi-phase developments within his geography & further afield.
Andrew was formerly a Director of Savills and partner in Fuller Peiser. Prior to joining the company, Andrew was responsible for all aspects of acquiring, developing & managing a £120m property portfolio for a family trust. He is now very much the figure head of the Manchester office which has grown rapidly as it goes from strength-to-strength and is now very much the preeminent developer in the important Northern region.
Henry is a qualified Chartered Surveyor who joined Barwood from Strutt and Parker in 2002 where he was divisional partner specialising in investment.
His clear thinking and creativity in financial problem-solving has helped him put together many complex and sizeable transactions.
Henry has extensive experience in all aspects of the development business with his focus now very much on land assembly and the optioning of land which is life blood and raw material of the company. His determined and relentless approach coupled with clarity of thought to ensure even the most complicated issue, be it legal or planning related, will not defeat him.
The recent success in both optioning up and then gaining planning consent at Magna Park, Lutterworth and symmetry park, Bicester a testament of this.
Will is a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) and Chartered Treasurer (ACT), he assumes overall responsibility for all finance and reporting at db symmetry. He has over 14 years of experience of finance and treasury at property and REIM businesses.
Prior to joining the company he was at Forum Partners, where he had ultimate finance responsibility for their Europe and Asia funds. He also led on the acquisition, development and subsequent disposal of the LFFREP platform.
At Palmer Capital, he was Head of Finance and at Cordea Savills he was responsible for the launch of the successful Nordic Retail Fund and worked in Germany.
He has a wide experience of finance matter, including real estate corporate finance, portfolio analytics, financial risk management and the requirements of institutional investors.
Kevin has 35 years’ experience in property providing Project Management and Cost Consultant services to private commercial property developers within the industrial, logistics, master planning and infrastructure, retail, office, residential and student accommodation sectors. A Chartered Surveyor, Kevin also has significant plc experience in reporting directly to the Executive Board as Director of Project Management for Redrow from 2002 - 2009 having overall responsibility for the delivery of complex major residential-led city centre developments across the UK.
As a Senior Director at RPS Group (formerly DBK), Kevin has been consistently providing services to Tritax Symmetry for the last 18 months, in addition to developers such as Peel, St Modwen, Stoford and Harworth Estates and is currently establishing procedures and legal precedents.
Having joined the company on a full-time basis, Kevin holds overall responsibility for the design, procurement and construction process reporting directly to the Board.
Jonathan joined in 2007 from Reading Borough Council and has over 12 years of experience in taking major residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes through the planning system.
He is responsible for establishing and managing the planning strategy for strategic land holdings from acquisition through to disposal.
Jonathan’s meticulous approach to all aspects of a project, whether through the promotion of sites through the development plan process or submission of planning applications, and careful management of multi-disciplinary teams, ensures that robust planning arguments are presented. This has been demonstrated most recently by gaining planning consent for 3m sq ft of logistics development at Magna Park, Lutterworth.
Through the review of the evidence base for the Lutterworth scheme, Jonathan has also been instrumental in the diversification of the company into rail-based logistics, through the identification of the Hinckley National Rail Freight Interchange opportunity which is currently being taken forward as a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) through the Development Consent Order (DCO) process.
Tom is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over 14 years of experience in the commercial property market. He previously worked in the South-East market providing leasing, investment and development advice, initially at JLL and latterly at Cushman & Wakefield where he was a Partner before joining the company in 2015.
His role includes securing strategically important sites in the Greater London, South-East and South Midlands area. Tom's focus also lies in the development and delivery of speculative and pre-committed units. Recent successes include securing the purchase of a new 50 acre B8 site in Biggleswade and the development of the first phase of symmetry park, Bicester with the delivery of a pre-sold unit and a speculatively developed unit which he subsequently sold to an owner occupier.
Tom is a determined individual and has completed a solo swim of the English Channel in 11 hours and 7 minutes, as well as a relay crossing.
Simon is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years of experience in all aspects of commercial property development and planning. His early career was as an agent in Leeds and Manchester and he has for the past 15 years undertaken numerous commercial developments whilst working with a regional construction firm and a national developer.
Simon specialises in large logistics, manufacturing and mixed-use schemes, primarily across the M62 corridor but has also undertaken city centre office and retail-led developments.
He has recently completed the letting, forward funding and redevelopments of a logistics and manufacturing building on Merseyside for a main Jaguar Land Rover supplier and is currently undertaking two developments in Yorkshire and the North-East with a combined floor space of 2.5m sq ft.
Jonathan is a qualified chartered Surveyor with 25 years' experience as an agent and developer. He formerly ran leasing and investment teams in London and Birmingham at Cushman & Wakefield and JLL.
Jonathan's geographical focus is on the East and West Midlands delivering existing projects and sourcing new large scale, multi-phase opportunities. His strong financial and analytical skills are at the core of his approach to development, managing risk at every stage. Current projects include Symmetry Park, Lutterworth and Symmetry Park, Kettering.
Paul joined the company in late 2017 from Lynton Developments where he was instrumental in securing many occupier-led development projects. Paul's personal approach to working with occupiers has seen him secure repeat business over a number of years.
Long-term development projects and controlling land are key to the success of any development business and Paul utilises his development skill sets to drive forward strategic land in the North-West and Yorkshire, whilst at the same time working with occupiers across the country to secure further land for design and build projects.
Paul continues to drive his national contact base to secure new projects across the country ranging from strategic employment land to bespoke design and build projects for occupiers.
David is a Chartered Surveyor with 14 years’ experience working in the northern commercial market. David joined the company in 2019 from a PLC property company where he focused on development across a range of sectors, acquisition and sales. Prior to this he worked in consultancy at both a niche, development focused surveying practice and at Knight Frank in the Capital Markets and Industrial agency team.
David is responsible for the delivery of large logistics, manufacturing and mixed-use schemes in the North such as at Ma6nitude as well as securing new opportunities throughout the region.
Freddie is a qualified Chartered Surveyor who joined the company's northern office in July 2013, following 2 years working at Colliers International in the North-West Industrial Agency Team.
Freddie works on the management of development projects from acquisition through to disposal throughout the North of England, North Wales and Scotland.
Freddie has earned an exceptional reputation as an ambitious property developer, able to deliver on multi-million-pound schemes. He played a key role in the developing and letting of 110,000 sq ft warehouse to MDA, Bunzl in Wigan and the disposal of land to Euro Garages and Irizar at Symmetry Park, Doncaster. Freddie is currently working on the delivery of a 232,150 sq ft pre-let to Croda International.
Freddie has developed exceptional relationships with major funding institutions, national occupiers, local authorities and project teams alike.
Joe joined Tritax Symmetry in 2019 and is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over 4 years’ experience in the commercial property market. He previously worked at CBRE in the South-East & Midlands market providing leasing and development advice to a variety of occupiers, investors & developers.
Joe’s key focus area involves the delivery of existing projects for both speculative and pre-committed units, together with sourcing new strategic development sites. Current projects include CM40 Banbury & Hinckley National RFI.
Outside of work, having been brought up on a family farm in Northampton he remains actively involved in the day to day running of the business.
Matt joined the company from GVA in 2018 having previously worked at Knight Frank and Indigo planning in Manchester. Matt has 12 years experience advising on all aspects of land use planning across a wide range of property and business sectors including the delivery of large logistics, manufacturing and mixed-use schemes.
Matt's day-to-day role includes coordinating the specialist inputs of design, highways and environmental consultants to support a range of planning application submissions; reviewing land interests and property assets, highlighting the development opportunities and potential planning risk; preparing policy representations, to influence emerging planning policy and allocate land for specific land uses through the development plan process; undertaking stakeholder and community consultations.
Sarah is a qualified Chartered Surveyor who graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2015 with a 1st class BSc (Hons) degree in Real Estate Management. Sarah joined the Manchester office in October 2018 following 3 years working in both commercial and residential real estate consultancy.
Sarah's experience ranges from commercial agency, lease advisory and business rates consultancy, through to financial viability in the development process. She focuses on the delivery of existing projects and the identification of new opportunities in the North West and Yorkshire.
Sebastian joined the company from Oxford Brookes University after achieving Upper Second Class Honours in Real Estate Management. He brings a diverse range of industry-related skills and already has a strong understanding for the development process.
Sebastian has a good contact base within the market and is building on his development experience through working on sites such as Bicester and CM40 Banbury.
Charlie joined the company from Oxford Brookes University after achieving an Upper Second Class Honours in Real Estate Management. He gained experience in the industry prior to joining Tritax Symmetry and this led him to study links between Online Retail and the Logistics property market at University.
Charlie has shown adaptability across all stages of the development process which has benefitted projects that he is working on and he is keen to further expand his strong industry network. He is looking to build his industry knowledge and is involved in various projects including Aston Clinton and Kettering.
